After my brother has lived here for two years and owning their home for twenty, I finally had the opportunity to visit him and my sister in law, Natasha for 10 days. Their house is the one on the left, with the car parked in front of it.
They have a small garden behind their house here, with some plants and flowers. They also own a small piece of land for a bigger garden, around a five minute walk down the hill.
Their village is super cute and pretty small, with under 200 inhabitants. There is a small post office, a small historical museum, a mayor’s office, a Catholic Church and an elementary school.
As you can see in some of the photos, the roads throughout his village are super narrow and they are only one way.
They have an amazing view out their back window of the Pyrenees mountain range, which is gorgeous. I actually saw a lot of that mountain range flying into France.
I loved seeing the buildings and houses in France but also in Romania, covered in growing vines.
And here is my future home! Haha, I wish! This is a home owned by a British family, as their vacation home.
Even though it was pretty cold during a lot of my trip, it was still a lot of fun. It was great to get to know my sister in law more and catch up with her and my brother. I hadn’t seen him in around 4 years. And I was so happy to finally see their place here in Labécède-Lauragais.
